Gaining 3 Minutes of Daylight Each Day

Slowly but surely, our days are getting longer. Around the equinox we gain daylight at its most rapid pace. This time of year we typically pick up close to 3 minutes of sunlight per day. Over the course of the month of March we will gain 86 minutes of daylight. By the end of the month, the sun won’t be setting until almost 7:30pm. If the times at left look a little off, you have to remember that Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday at 2am. At that hour we will all have to set our clocks forward one hour. Hopefully you can catch a nap this weekend and make up for that lost hour of sleep. -ADAM
