Cold about to break loose!

The high temperature in Rockford, Illinois on Tuesday was 18°F. However, once that big chunk of cold air in Northern Canada breaks loose Thursday, our temperatures will likely plunge below 0°! In fact, I am not anticipating the wind chill values to be above zero from Thursday night straight through Wednesday of next week. Use our NBC Weather Plus currents at the top-right corner of this page to calculate the wind chill values this weekend.

    Cold gives me an excuse to stay inside.

    So are these temperatures forecasted assuming that there won’t be any more snow or that there will be? We’re not expecting more than an inch or 2 tops right? I wasn’t really paying attention to the news =X
