Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues until 2:15 for Carroll County. Doppler radar is indicating max-size hail to reach 1″ but spotters have reported 1/4″ hail around Savanna and 3/4″ hail at Mt. Carroll within the past half hour. -ERIC

    i dont trust any station but wrex. it looks like we are surrounded by rain and storms. the line fizzled right over us. why did it do that eric.

    I trust other stations, I just prefer WREX because of the coverage. Anything but the weather channel and the NWS is fine by me.

    Tony: I will try to put something together for the evening newscasts. A lot of times when one storm takes over it takes the unstable air away from surrounding storms. Officially, Rockford got a trace of rain with the front. How disappointing! -ERIC
