Clouds give us a jump start on today’s temperatures

Once again, early morning cloud cover has given us a mild night despite the continued northerly flow. This kept overnight lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s for most places in northern Illinois while south central Wisconsin saw teens and even single digits just north of Madison.

Computer guidance this morning wanted to give a high of 45, but with the warm overnight temperature, I believe we may end up closer to 50 this afternoon!
