Several days below average already, will we go double digits?

Although we are seeing sunny skies today, temperatures still won’t cooperate. If we don’t get to 52° this afternoon, this will be the 9th consecutive day of below average cold in Rockford. Tomorrow, I am forecasting a high of 52 which would be right at our seasonal normal. If we somehow do not reach this, I believe this count will reach double digits as a cool weekend is in store.
