Weird weather for April Fool’s Day

A system working in from the Plains states will bring a rain/snow mix to the region tonight as temperatures fall into the lower 30s. Any accumulation would be VERY minor, mainly on grassy areas. As we head through the day on Friday, temperatures will warm just enough to change any wintry mix to rain. However, the frozen precipitation may not be over. Instability aloft may cause the rain to be heavy for brief periods and should that happen we could have some pea to dime sized hail! So don’t be fooled if your eyes play some games with you tomorrow.

Oh by the way, last year on April Fool’s Day we were in the 80s! -ES

    Dear Mother Nature,

    We are not amused.

    Signed,

P.S. our Governor has determined that once something is published on a website it is official, so this is now Official. Unless Judge Sumi says it isn’t.
