Filling Up

Our rain gauges and backyards will be filling up with a healthy dose of water over the next 36 hours.  A strong low pressure system pulling in ample Gulf moisture could put down three-quarters to perhaps over one inch of rain by Halloween night.  Rain with embedded thunder will push into our region Wednesday afternoon and linger until a cold front pulls through late Thursday.

On the positive side, Wednesday and Thursday’s high temperatures will be mild in the lower 60s for most areas—above average for a change.
