Thursday Thunder

dayHeading into this afternoon our chance for showers greatly increases. We could sneak in some popcorn showers and even a few popcorn storms this morning, but the best chance for heavier sustained rainfall will be as we look toward this evening into tonight. Since March 1st we are closing in on a rainfall deficit near 2 inches, so this is welcomed rain. Thunderstorms can’t be ruled out this evening, but the strongest storms will stay well to our south through parts of Central and Southern Illinois. – Greg
